Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as the Vice President for Housing and Income Security. This critical leadership position will drive the organization's housing and income security agenda, working collaboratively with team members to develop and execute a comprehensive policy strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and advance a research and policy agenda that promotes economic justice and addresses systemic inequities
  • Provide strategic direction for the Housing and Income Security team, overseeing project management, budgeting, and fundraising efforts
  • Serve as a principal spokesperson for the organization on housing and income security issues, engaging with policymakers, media, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • At least ten years of relevant experience in public policy, advocacy, or related fields
  • Exceptional management skills, including the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in strategic thinking, planning, implementation, and problem-solving
  • Deep knowledge of housing and income security programs, including rental assistance, homelessness initiatives, and TANF
