The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP) is a leading research organization that advances federal and state policies to promote economic justice and reduce poverty.
We seek a seasoned Budget Policy Strategist who will contribute to our mission by providing expert analysis and guidance on federal fiscal policy issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in budget analysis, excellent communication skills, and experience working with diverse stakeholders.
- Develop Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with the Federal Fiscal Policy team to design and implement strategic initiatives that drive policy change, including developing key messages, analyzing budget data, and engaging with policymakers.
- Advocate for Equitable Policies: Use data-driven insights to advocate for policies that address income and wealth inequality, promote racial equity, and improve health outcomes.
- Maintain Strong Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, congressional staff, and partner organizations.
