Role Summary:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dedicated Solutions Architect to enhance our expanding GovTech sector within the World Wide Public Sector practice, collaborating closely with Government Technology firms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of technical engagements and ensure the success of specific implementation initiatives.
- Define implementation architectures and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Develop in-depth expertise in AWS technologies and a comprehensive understanding of how applications and services are built using the AWS platform.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on security concerning customer applications and services.

About the Team:
The GovTech Solution Architecture team is committed to being the premier technology enabler for GovTech ISVs, assisting them in achieving their objectives through strategic guidance and the effective use of AWS services.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in relevant technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of experience in IT development or consulting within the software or internet industries.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.
