About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in the adult medicine setting. As a Physician Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a supervising physician to examine patients, perform comprehensive physical examinations, and compile patient medical data.
Responsibilities- Examine patients, perform comprehensive physical examinations, and compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
- Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as imaging studies, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interpret test results for deviations from normal.
- Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care, and managing infection.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
- Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance and other relevant patient education.
- Graduated from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program.
- Physician Assistant License in California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- National Provider Identifier.
- Physician Assistant National certificate.
- Experience as a Physician Assistant with OR experience.
