Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Holy Cross Health. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in critical care nursing.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland or a compact state.
  • 2 years of experience in ICU nursing, with a strong focus on critical care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
