Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Holy Cross Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements.
- Professional specialty certifications may be required in accordance with departmental standards or role requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
