Medical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory results, while also contributing to the development of new clinical trials and research projects.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of clinical laboratory analyses, including assays for cardiovascular, endocrine, hematological, hemostatic, thrombolytic, and renal systems.
- Evaluate individual and related laboratory data, recognizing patterns or trends that suggest significance of results.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair clinical laboratory equipment, including routine preventative maintenance, calibrations, and safety checks.
- Evaluate analytical reagents, calibrators, and QC standards to ensure the accuracy of analytical results.
- Work on problems of limited scope, following standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 years).
- Excellent critical thinking skills, good time management and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, good written and oral communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
