About the Role:
Daikin Applied is in search of a proficient HVAC Service Technician II to expertly troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems, with a focus on VRV and VRF technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the performance of newly installed VRV systems and execute necessary repairs.
- Provide training to fellow technicians and clients on VRV system operations.
- Oversee the maintenance of HVAC systems, including tasks such as coil cleaning, filter replacements, and lubrication.
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting on CAT II equipment.
- Replace and repair faulty components of HVAC systems.
- Lead the refurbishment of CAT II and III level units.
- Engage with customers to identify potential sales opportunities.
- Guide and mentor Level I technicians, offering training support.
- Document and communicate technical information promptly.
- Utilize data analysis to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures consistently.
- Participate in on-call duties and be open to travel as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Associate degree in HVAC or a related technical certification.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant HVAC experience.
- Proficiency with VRV or VRF systems.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- State-specific licenses or certifications as mandated.
- EPA approved Universal Technician Certification.
Preferred:
- Current first aid / CPR certification.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
