Practice Details
The AdventHealth Diabetes Institute operates as a comprehensive, integrated practice that specializes in endocrinology and diabetes management, alongside extensive diabetes and nutrition education services. Recognized nationally, our program consistently earns accolades in Endocrinology from U.S. News and World Report. We also serve as a training site for internal medicine residents and medical students, and actively participate in clinical research focusing on diabetes, obesity, and metabolism in conjunction with our Translational Research Institute for Metabolism and Diabetes.
Facility Overview
Our primary office is located within a state-of-the-art facility spanning over 20,000 square feet on the campus of a major tertiary referral hospital. Candidates should be dedicated to providing transformative clinical care in both outpatient and inpatient environments. Additionally, there may be avenues for involvement in teaching and clinical research for those who qualify and express interest.
Qualifications
Applicants must be fellowship-trained and possess active board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine, with board certification or eligibility (within five years post-training) in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
Employment Structure
This role is offered through AdventHealth Medical Group, a large multi-specialty organization comprising over 900 physicians. As a sister organization of AdventHealth Orlando, we provide a competitive salary and benefits package, including malpractice coverage, health insurance for the physician and family, relocation assistance, paid leave, a robust retirement plan, and continuing medical education (CME) days with an allowance.
