About the Role

Dignity Health is seeking a highly skilled Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Chandler Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care to individuals admitted to our Neurosurgery department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care within the scope of practice as set forth by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and establish treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and nursing staff.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests within the scope of practice.
  • Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, and instruct patients on their use.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with case management to ensure safe and timely patient discharge.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience.
  • Current Arizona RN license.
  • Current Arizona Nurse Practitioner license.
  • National Certification in a Nurse Practitioner specialty.
  • Current DEA certificate.
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience as a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner.

Compensation

$86.79/hour
