Join our team as a Custodial Worker and contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students, faculty, and staff.

Job Summary

The Custodial Worker is responsible for performing general cleaning tasks on campus facilities, working collaboratively with the Campus Director to provide clean and sanitary facilities for the college community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, classrooms, eating areas, offices, and meeting rooms.
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
  • Dust furniture and clean windows.
  • Dispose of trash in a safe manner according to state and federal regulations.
  • Buff floors and replace light bulbs.
  • Perform assignments for the facilities management team leader and director of maintenance and operations as specified.
Requirements
  • High school diploma and six months of related experience, or equivalent.
  • Able to lift heavy items, such as office furniture, equipment, etc.
  • Good interaction/communication skills.
  • Commitment to the mission of a comprehensive community and technical college and to personalized maintenance and operations services.
  • Personal and professional integrity.
Work Environment

This is a part-time, temporary position working up to 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with an afternoon shift schedule preferred.
