About the Clinical Nurse Manager Role and Transplant & Renal Clinic

The Massachusetts General Hospital seeks an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee daily clinical operations and patient care management of the Transplant and Renal Clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as on-site clinical manager for the Transplant and Renal Divisions, working in collaboration with Medical, Surgical, and Administrative Directors
  • Direct clinic-related activities, ensuring safe and compliant operations in alignment with hospital policies and practice standards
  • Recruit, orient, train, and counsel nursing and medical assistant staff
  • Support nursing staff coverage as needed, recruitment and retention of clinic staff, and proper training of staff in maintaining core competencies
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of Transplant Nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting
  • Three years management/supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively supervise others
  • Demonstrates forthrightness and integrity
