This role is an armed security position under the direct oversight of the site Manager, responsible for maintaining safety and security at a high-profile location. The officer will monitor and report on activities and incidents, ensuring the protection of property, visitors, and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular surveillance of the premises to deter and detect any unauthorized activities.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies, utilizing appropriate levels of force as per established protocols.
  • Control access to the facility, ensuring that only authorized individuals are permitted entry.
  • Assist in maintaining order and enforcing site regulations for all personnel and visitors.
  • Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle, checking for safety hazards and security breaches.
  • Prepare detailed reports and logs of incidents and activities as required.
  • Provide a welcoming atmosphere for visitors while maintaining professionalism and respect.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, preventing unauthorized access and ensuring the safety of all individuals on site.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must meet all applicable licensing and certification requirements for armed security personnel.
  • Proficient in basic life support and first aid, with certifications from recognized organizations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
