About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Cannabis Security Officer to join our team at Hammer Head Security. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for our clients and their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Hammer Head Security and our clients with professionalism at all times.
  • Maintain a strong, visible point of control for both the interior and exterior of the facility.
  • Establish and cultivate a safe and secure environment for facility staff, management, and customers.
  • Enforce all facility security policies and procedures for customers, vendors, staff, and visitors.
  • Conduct routine and random foot patrols throughout the facility and report any suspicious behavior or activity immediately.
  • Practice effective communication with facility staff and management to control the flow of inbound and outbound foot traffic.
  • Defuse incidents with difficult persons using sound conflict resolution skills and involve facility management as needed.
  • Monitor CCTV stations to identify active areas of concern and engage appropriately.
  • Conduct controlled stops and recovery of unpaid merchandise with explicit training and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Government-issued ID or valid California driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid California BSIS Guard Card.
  • Valid Exposed Firearm Permit issued by BSIS.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Officers must be in good physical condition to perform the full range of security officer duties.
  • Additional qualifications will be discussed during the applicant's interview.
