Job Overview:
The Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA), the foremost airline pilot union globally, is seeking a Membership Administrative Analyst. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective communication and support for over 78,000 pilots across various airlines in the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Address and manage inquiries from pilots, elected representatives, and airline officials, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Analyze incoming data and correspondence to determine appropriate actions and solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all membership and billing inquiries in the electronic filing system.
  • Update and manage pilot billing accounts within the Association Management System (AMS), ensuring accuracy in dues and assessments.
  • Conduct annual verifications and reconciliations of earnings files using payroll or tax documentation.
  • Assist in the processing of rebate transactions and ensure all membership records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Provide support to other departmental functions as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Two years of college education with a focus on business administration or management is preferred; a high school diploma is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with computer systems in a professional setting.
  • Proven experience in customer service or member support roles.
  • Familiarity with Association Management Systems (AMS) is preferred, with a strong preference for Aptify experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Ability to interact professionally with various stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Flexibility to work on short notice as required.
  • Strong mathematical skills are necessary.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands for this position include:

  • Regularly operating a computer and maintaining a stationary position.
  • Moving about the office and local area as needed.
  • Occasionally lifting and retrieving items weighing up to 25 pounds.
