SGI Global LLC is seeking a highly skilled Subject Matter Expert to join our team in the development and update of a Critical Incident Management (CIM) course. This is a part-time position that requires expertise in law enforcement training and incident management.

Job Duties:
  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical assistance to update the law enforcement training course.
  • Responsible for updating all training materials as required by the client.
  • Ensure the accuracy, quality, timeliness, and completion of all tasks.
  • Complete draft lesson plans according to an agreed-upon schedule.
  • Present the updated presentation materials in abbreviated form as the course is intended to be delivered.
  • Travel for both course design and walk-through meetings is required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the field. Five years of subject-matter-related work experience may be substituted for one year of education.
  • Five years' experience responding to critical incidents, with three years in a managerial or supervisory position.
  • Crisis incident management experience must be within seven years.
  • Must have formal training in incident management (at a minimum: Incident Command System [ICS]-200).
  • Experience as a trainer in the field of critical incident management.
  • Graduate of any local, state, or federal law enforcement academy or institution.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products: MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
