We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Mobile Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, and residential homes.
Key Responsibilities- Travel to patient locations to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams, following all company policies and procedures.
- Collect and verify patient information and order documentation prior to procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring safe work practices and radiation safety.
- Operate portable radiologic equipment, determining exposure factors and preparing images for reading.
- Process and transmit images, maintaining accurate records and visit logs.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Take good care of company vehicles, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Operate and behave in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
- Perform training and orientation of other employees, and assist with administrative and customer support functions.
- Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or state x-ray license.
- Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds, and walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
