Position SummaryThe Public Areas Attendant will perform their duties diligently and thoroughly, ensuring efficiency, friendliness, and professionalism while fostering a cooperative atmosphere with management and colleagues. Maintaining positive and friendly relations with all guests and team members is essential.
Minimum QualificationsCandidates must be able to:
- Move frequently throughout the property, including common areas and guest cabins.
- Utilize cleaning equipment to wipe, scrub, mop, and polish surfaces.
- Occasionally navigate stairways and ladders to access and clean multiple levels and hard-to-reach areas.
- Use step stools to retrieve items needed for public areas.
- Consistently position themselves to clean under furniture, lower cabinets, and flooring.
- Identify dirt and grime in guest areas.
- Communicate regularly with other departments regarding changes, needs, and information.
- Transport equipment, supplies, furniture, and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds across short distances.
- Work in various outdoor weather conditions.
- Foster a positive and energetic environment that supports exceptional guest experiences while upholding the highest standards of Triple Creek Ranch and Relais & Châteaux.
- Maintain the prestigious five-star image and appearance of the resort, ensuring all service and cleanliness standards are met.
- Consistently arrive on time for all duties, meetings, and appointments, completing all assignments reliably and promptly.
- Perform all public area functions, including daily and nightly checks and cleaning.
- Prepare guest cabins to Triple Creek Ranch standards for arrivals.
- Clean and maintain common areas of the ranch.
- Handle laundry duties as required.
- Inventory, stock, and maintain housekeeping supplies.
- Engage with guests in a courteous, professional manner.
- Report any damages, repairs needed, or safety concerns to management.
- Document all lost and found items for the Housekeeping Manager.
- Keep the Housekeeping Manager informed of inventory needs and any maintenance requirements.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Collaborate with other employees and departments, communicating any special requests and operational changes.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, safety standards, and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Rake outdoor areas during spring and fall.
- Shovel snow during winter months.
This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
