Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the supervisor to confirm the production schedule, ensuring all necessary materials are ready for binding.
- Efficiently set up jobs to maximize production speed while maintaining high-quality standards; conduct thorough quality control checks on each task.
- Monitor machine performance and promptly order necessary setups to reduce downtime.
- Ensure safety measures are in place during production and that all team members are equipped with required protective gear.
- Upon job completion, verify that all distribution criteria are satisfied and maintain accurate production records.
- Keep the workspace tidy and perform regular maintenance on bindery equipment.
- Foster teamwork among crew members to enhance productivity and quality; provide training as needed to improve crew efficiency.
- Communicate any production issues to the supervisor and perform additional tasks as directed.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions effectively.
- Experience in cleaning and maintaining assigned equipment and work areas.
- Proficiency in operating production machinery.
- Capability to work independently and build cooperative relationships within the production team.
