AEM Front End Lead Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled AEM Frontend Lead Developer with 10 to 13 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AEM support system engineering frontend backend and authoring. A background in bioinformatics is a plus. This role will involve managing projects that leverage AEM technologies to drive business success and societal impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and implementation of AEM projects.
  • Ability to understand business requirements/UI UX design, validate feasibility and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Thorough knowledge of software development best practices, including design patterns, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Building reusable components for future use
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of AEM applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AEM solutions with other systems.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical team members.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Qualifications:
  • Possess extensive experience in AEM support system engineering frontend backend and authoring.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript library/frameworks like React JS, Vue JS and Angular.
  • Good knowledge on Core web fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
  • Good Knowledge of RWD frameworks like Bootstrap and Material UI
  • Good Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills with a proven track record.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Show ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Have experience in risk management and mitigation.
  • Display strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Be familiar with bioinformatics domain (nice to have).
  • Hold a relevant project management certification (e.g. PMP PRINCE2).
  • Show proficiency in using project management tools and software.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Be committed to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Have a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
