Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team at Butterfly Effects. As a Behavior Therapist, you will work one-on-one with children with autism, building rapport and assisting with daily activities, implementing behavior reduction and skill acquisitions based on the clients' specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach young children affected by autism through play-based activities in their natural environment.
  • Work directly with the child and the family to teach essential skills, such as communication, sharing, and waiting.
  • Implement behavior reduction and skill acquisitions based on the clients' specific needs.
  • Assist with daily activities and build rapport with children and their families.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma.
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle to commute to sessions.
  • Auto insurance with your name listed as an insured driver.
  • Web-enabled device (laptop or tablet) for note-taking.

Compensation:

$22.00-$28.00 per hour based on experience, education, and certifications in the ABA field. Drive-time pay between sessions for field technicians.
