Job Summary

The CT/X-Ray Technologist is a critical member of our diagnostic imaging team at Memorial MRI & Diagnostic. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to deliver exceptional patient care and perform high-quality CT scan examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct and indirect patient care, ensuring the highest level of comfort and safety.
  • Operate CT equipment, adjusting techniques and parameters as needed to obtain high-quality results.
  • Follow departmental procedures to ensure all standard scanning views are taken, and exams are complete and properly transferred.
  • Maintain proper sterile techniques, aseptic practices, and infection control procedures.
  • Solve job-related problems, such as equipment malfunctions and patient positioning issues.
  • Perform basic nursing functions, including CPR and life support measures as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with PACS, computer systems, and hospital information systems.
  • Assist in training new employees and maintaining equipment preventive maintenance.
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED and graduation from an approved AMA educational program in Radiologic Technology.
  • 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiology or a hospital setting is preferred.
  • ARRT certification and TDH licensure, with current CPR certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and self-confidence to make decisions.
