Position Overview

We are seeking a talented individual to leverage their expertise in Remediation Design Engineering and Project Management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing designs for ongoing environmental remediation initiatives. To qualify, candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Geoenvironmental, or Chemical Engineering, along with 12 to 16 years of relevant experience.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Executing engineering design tasks for significant projects, including Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, and Remedial Designs.
  • Providing engineering support for the remediation of contaminated sites, including soil, water, and sediment.
  • Coordinating the preparation of technical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assisting in the formulation of project execution strategies while monitoring scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Engaging with clients and collaborating with interdisciplinary project teams.
  • Mentoring early-career engineers to foster their professional development.
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Geoenvironmental, or Chemical Engineering with 12 to 16 years of relevant experience.
  • Possession or interest in obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification with up-to-date refresher training.
  • Strong understanding of NYSDEC regulations and familiarity with other local and federal agencies.
  • Experience with both traditional and innovative remediation technologies.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement Pre-Design Investigations and Remedial Design documents.

Compensation Overview:

At Ramboll, your base salary is part of a comprehensive compensation package. The anticipated salary range for this role is between $106,000 and $125,000, depending on various factors such as experience and location.
