Pharmacy Technician - Sterile Compounding

At UnitedHealth Group, we're committed to helping people live healthier lives and making the health system work better for everyone. As a Pharmacy Technician - Sterile Compounding, you'll play a critical role in delivering care and improving health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform sterile compounding according to company policy and regulations, including USP 797 and USP 800.
  • Maintain competency related to performing sterile compounding and participate in medication management for pharmacy compounding.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, hardware, and software issues relating to compounding and participate in completing and documenting all cleaning and monitoring activities.
  • Work within a team to triage and respond to all compounding needs promptly and maintain ongoing didactic and practical training related to sterile compounding.
Requirements:
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Kansas.
  • 1+ years of consistent sterile compounding experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (8-hour shifts between 7am-7pm weekdays with rotating weekends).
