CVS Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our patient's specialty medication orders.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately read, interpret, and enter prescriptions into our computer system, including calculation of doses and assignment of directions.
- Contact doctor's offices and insurance companies to verify the accuracy of patient's specialty medication orders.
- Answer patient calls to coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and re-verifying benefits as needed.
- Valid Kansas Pharmacy Technician License.
- At least six months of experience working in a pharmacy.
- Proficiency in Windows-Based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
- Strong communication and data entry skills.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Customer service experience, particularly in an office environment.
- Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and other medical assisting roles.
