Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer for our Material Handling System Design team. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing material handling systems for industrial facilities. Your expertise will be crucial in creating efficient and effective systems that meet the specific needs of each facility.

About the Role

Responsibilities of the Senior Project Engineer include:

  • Designing and implementing material handling systems, including conveyor belts and other machinery
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements
  • Developing project scope and timelines, and managing project execution
  • Working with vendors to select and acquire equipment and materials
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in material handling systems
  • Expertise in AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks
  • Strong communication and project management skills

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and other factors.
