Medical Examiner

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Examiner to join our team at MRG Exams. As a Medical Examiner, you will play a critical role in performing disability assessments on United States Veterans.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for reviewing medical records electronically through a web portal and performing focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran.
In this role, you will document exam findings required by the VA through the web portal. It is essential to note that you will NOT make disability determinations; the United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations.
This position performs Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day, working in a clinical setting. You will not treat patients or prescribe medication in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform independent medical assessments on United States Veterans
- Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
- Skilled in time management, able to stay on task and meet requirements
- Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Proficiently use a computer
