Journeyman Electrician Job Description

About the Role:

KBR's Government Solutions U.S. division is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical controls, wiring, and lighting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including controls, wiring, and lighting.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Perform general electrical maintenance and repairs.
  • Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
  • Maintain quality control measures to ensure installations and repairs meet or exceed set standards.
  • Facilitate team communication and ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as an electrician.
  • Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
  • Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools.
  • Valid license to practice profession.
  • Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated CI polygraph.
  • Attention to detail, adaptability, and strong decision-making skills.
