Job Summary

B Business Support Services of Salem is seeking a highly skilled court reporter to provide verbatim recording services for Social Security hearings held by the Office of Hearings Operations (OHO).

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate recording equipment to ensure accurate capture of testimony during hearings
  • Produce complete and accurate transcripts/recording of administrative hearings
  • Gather and distribute exhibits and supporting materials as needed
  • Provide administrative support to ensure seamless operation of hearings

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Ability to operate various office equipment, including copiers and fax machines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently

Salary Information
