Role Overview:
The CT/XR Technologist is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical, technical, and operational tasks within the CT department. This role involves collaborating with supervisors and lead technologists to ensure optimal patient flow and adequate staffing. Key responsibilities include:
  • Efficient management of technical and human resources.
  • Adherence to patient care quality standards across all age demographics.
  • Participation in performance improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Execution of diagnostic x-ray procedures as required.

Key Responsibilities:
The CT/XR Technologist will work closely with imaging supervisors and lead technologists to receive ongoing direction and guidance. Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing CT-related policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and practices.
  • Producing high-quality images in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders within the facility.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an AMA Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and board certified in a specialty.
  • ARRT (R), ARRT (CT) required upon hire.
  • Experience in performing diagnostic x-ray procedures is essential.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a CT tech role within an acute care setting.
  • BCLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability to work with diverse patient populations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to assist patients.
  • Proficient in computer operations for data management.
