Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian (Facilities Maintenance) to join our team at ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning and Maintenance Co. by Kent. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our customers, their employees, and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Security and Access: Opens and locks facilities, enables and disables security system as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper, or in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs.
  • Communication: Must be able to communicate in English.
