Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Goodwill Industries of Central Texas. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, floors, and other high-touch areas using approved cleaning solutions and equipment.
  • Restock paper supplies and empty trash receptacles to designated locations.
  • Operate various buffing machines and cleaning equipment to maintain floors and surfaces.
  • Comply with all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous cleaning or maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and provide documentation of disability (if applicable).
