Key Responsibilities- Support the organization's mission and values by providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
- Coordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Ensure medical orders are followed, initiate and follow treatment planning, and act as a patient advocate at all times.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' unique needs and goals.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting empowerment and self-advocacy.
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing training.
- Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
- CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
- Preferred experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
