Nurse Practitioner

Tanner Health System is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide patient services in a medical office setting. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Nursing and six months of related experience. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the clinic staff, hospital departments, and community agencies to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform patient evaluations, assessments, and treatments in the medical office setting.
- Work closely with the clinic staff, hospital departments, and community agencies to provide patient care.
- Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Maintain and update level of skill for pertinent medical assistant duties.
- Participate in continuing education and develop new programs.
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Six months of related experience.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Georgia.
- Graduate of a recognized program for Nurse Practitioner training (MSN).
- Able to communicate effectively with medical and hospital staff and various populations in clinics and public screening events.
The Nurse Practitioner will work in a moderate environment with occasional exposure to dirt, odors, noise, or temperature/weather extremes/occupational risk. The position requires frequent contact with many persons at different levels inside and outside of the organization to carry out organization policies and programs and obtain willing acceptance, consent, or action.
