Job Overview

Amberwoods of Farmington is actively seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our compassionate team.

Incentives:
- $5,000 sign-on bonus for Full-Time 40-hour positions
- $4,000 sign-on bonus for Full-Time 32-hour positions
- $3,000 sign-on bonus for Part-Time 24-hour positions

Available Positions:
- LPN or RN

- RNs starting at $38 per hour with 1 year of experience

Amberwoods is a 130-bed facility specializing in long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and Memory Care services. We pride ourselves on delivering superior care driven by kindness, compassion, and excellence.

Qualifications:
- Current Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Previous experience in long-term care is preferred

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage patient care tailored to individual needs.
- Conduct patient interviews and document medical histories.
- Monitor vital signs including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Provide routine patient care and observe health status.
- Review medical charts and assist with patient comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
- Prepare specimens for lab courier and administer medications.
- Provide wound care and assist with injections and enemas.
- Monitor catheters and support overall patient well-being.
