About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Cleaning Specialist to join our team at ABM Industries. As an Event Cleaning Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our stadium and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning functions while the arena/stadium is empty, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
  • Ensure the stadium/arena and surrounding areas are always event-ready, including cleaning toilets and bathrooms to the highest standards.
  • Report any general maintenance issues or damages to line manager immediately.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
  • Attention to time management is crucial to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed promptly before and after events.
  • Stadium/Arena cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks assigned.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls, and removing rubbish.
Requirements
  • Flexible around working days and hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a large-scale cleaning team.
  • Work on own initiative.
  • 1 year of similar work experience.
  • Knowledge of basic cleaning products.
