Work Schedule: PRN

Shift: Daytime

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional patient care within the imaging department. Conduct high-quality imaging and examinations while being attuned to patient needs. Exhibit leadership qualities and serve as a role model for fellow technologists. Act as a clinical resource for team members and ensure adherence to current best practices.

Contributions to the Team:

  • Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, head, extremity, retroperitoneal, small parts, and vascular studies. Cardiac procedures may be performed as required.
  • Generate high-quality images accurately and promptly.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, providing clear information and guidance regarding procedures while addressing their physical and emotional needs.
  • Assist patients during examinations and ensure proper positioning.

Qualifications:

Essential skills and experiences required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Registered with ARDMS as RDMS (OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR) or
  • Registered with ARRT as R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RVT(VT) with OB or ABD required within one year of hire, or ARRT registered - R.T.(S)(VS)(ARRT) or
  • Registered with ARDMS as RDCS(AE) or (PE) or hold a Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS)
