Meat Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Associate to join our team at The GIANT Company. As a Meat Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality products.

• Receive and process deliveries, including breaking down loads and rotating cooler stock.
• Weigh, price, and label products to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Stock cases and select products to meet customer demand.
• Prepare valued-added products to enhance customer experience.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management to ensure seamless store operations.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs.
• Job cycles: continual maximum.
• Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
• Category IV: Lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.
