Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical Imaging Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate accurate diagnoses by operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographs. Key duties include:
- Preparing patients for imaging procedures through proper positioning and technique.
- Ensuring the quality and production of radiographs by adhering to established protocols.
- Documenting patient care services in departmental records.
- Reviewing imaging results for technical precision and anatomical accuracy.
- Assisting radiologists with patient care, including the administration of medications and contrast agents.
- Participating in emergency call rotations as required.
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- An Associate's Degree or equivalent military training in Radiologic Technology.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and a valid state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Membership in the American Society of Radiologic Technologists is preferred.
This position requires full vaccination against COVID-19 in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, unless a medical or religious exemption is granted.
