Job Responsibilities

As a Medical Imaging Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate accurate diagnoses by operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographs. Key duties include:

  • Preparing patients for imaging procedures through proper positioning and technique.
  • Ensuring the quality and production of radiographs by adhering to established protocols.
  • Documenting patient care services in departmental records.
  • Reviewing imaging results for technical precision and anatomical accuracy.
  • Assisting radiologists with patient care, including the administration of medications and contrast agents.
  • Participating in emergency call rotations as required.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • An Associate's Degree or equivalent military training in Radiologic Technology.
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and a valid state license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Membership in the American Society of Radiologic Technologists is preferred.

This position requires full vaccination against COVID-19 in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, unless a medical or religious exemption is granted.
