Job Responsibilities and Qualifications
As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will assist in diagnosing patient conditions by operating radiologic equipment to create high-quality images.

Before each examination, you will prepare patients for radiological procedures by ensuring proper positioning and imaging techniques, adjusting immobilization devices, positioning equipment accurately, and modifying equipment settings to achieve optimal exposure.

- You will uphold the quality and production standards of radiographs by adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Document patient care services by maintaining accurate records in patient and departmental files.
- Review each examination for technical precision and confirm anatomical orientation on all images.
- Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents, and providing comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in emergency call rotations to fulfill departmental requirements.


Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent military training as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and state licensure.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Membership in the American Society of Radiologic Technology is preferred.
