Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Culinary Team Lead to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Culinary Team Lead, you will be responsible for assisting the Sous Chef in running the kitchen and managing employees, overseeing the operations in the absence of the Sous Chef.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality food preparation.
  • Oversee the performance of kitchen staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality assurance standards.
Requirements
  • 2 or more years of experience as a Prep or Line Cook.
  • Experience leading a team and managing kitchen operations.
  • Food safety and quality assurance knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts.
  • Experience working in a multi-faceted food service facility.
