Role Responsibilities:

We are in search of a dedicated Plant Operations Technician (Maintenance Technician) to assist in the upkeep of our community facilities. This role involves supporting the Plant Operations Director in maintaining the property for residents, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include lawn maintenance, painting, renovations, plumbing, and general building upkeep. The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of building maintenance and be capable of working independently.

Key Duties:
  • Adhere to and promote the community's philosophy aimed at enhancing residents' quality of care and life.
  • Comply with community policies and procedures.
  • Participate in facility meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Follow infection control protocols.
  • Respect residents' rights, including privacy and dignity.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and guests.
  • Implement safety measures to ensure resident safety.
  • Understand and follow the community's Emergency Preparedness plans.
  • Maintain, repair, and service all facility equipment and furnishings as needed.
  • Assist with resident transportation as requested.
  • Safely operate machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all flooring materials.
  • Support laundry and housekeeping departments as necessary.
  • Be available for on-call duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to obtain any necessary transport licenses.
