Metallurgist Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage quality assurance and quality control processes for the assay lab and mill operations
• Monitor milling processes to optimize production and minimize interruptions
• Collaborate with Mine and Shaft departments to enhance operational efficiency
• Oversee mill maintenance planning and execution
• Provide technical assistance to mill operators and technicians
• Conduct tests on new ore bodies and chemicals for optimal recoveries
• Maintain chemical inventory and ordering
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Communicate daily/weekly production schedules with the Shipping Department
• Assist in budget planning for production operations and capital

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field is required
• A Bachelor's degree in metallurgical or chemical engineering is preferred
• A general understanding of mining operations and milling processes is essential
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is necessary
• A valid driver's license is required
