Piping/Plumbing Engineer I

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) is a leading consulting engineering firm seeking a Piping/Plumbing Engineer I to join our San Francisco office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in empowering our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions and create a better, greener future for all.
Responsibilities- Perform load calculations, determine system sizing and layouts, calculate equipment sizes, select equipment, complete field surveys, and review equipment shop drawings.
- Work with experienced engineers and mentor designers to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Take on a greater role in leading piping/plumbing project teams, writing specifications, participating in project meetings with clients and other consultants, and supporting construction-phase work.
- BSME/BSAE from an ABET-accredited school.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Non-academic internship experience.
- Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations preferred.
- EIT certification (Passed the FE exam) a plus.
- Internship experience in the MEP consulting engineering field preferred.
