About the Role

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) is a leading consulting engineering firm seeking a Piping/Plumbing Engineer Intern to join our San Diego office for Summer 2025. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of high-performance engineering solutions that positively impact society and advance humankind.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of piping and plumbing systems for various projects
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
Requirements
  • Enrollment in a Mechanical or Architectural Engineering program from an ABET-accredited school
  • Completed 3 years of coursework or junior standing
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities or student organizations
