Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement mobile infrastructure and tools to boost engineering efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Over 7 years of professional experience in Android development.
  • Proven track record in building and delivering complex, business-critical Android applications with regular iterations.
  • In-depth knowledge of design patterns and principles, along with a comprehensive understanding of the Android tech stack.
  • Familiarity with Jetpack and/or other open-source Android libraries, including RxJava, Retrofit, Litho, etc.
  • Strong grasp of the Android SDK to develop scalable, dynamic, and high-performance UI components.
  • Experience with remote APIs, concurrency, layouts, transitions, animations, client-side persistence, and architectural patterns in mobile applications.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional and/or cross-business projects.
  • Background in a mobile architecture/infrastructure team with a deep understanding of the tech stack in these projects.
  • Experience in sub-engineering areas such as performance optimization, toolchain development, automated testing, and design patterns.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of delivering significant business outcomes independently.
