About the Role

Seegrid is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of various electrical/mechanical assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate components to industrial trucks and verify operation to specifications
  • Assemble, test, and calibrate electronic components for manufacturing
  • Assemble and verify engineering changes and prototypes
  • Assist with set up and maintenance of assembly, test systems, and processes
  • Calibrate and maintain calibration and test equipment used in manufacturing
  • Document work activities and results

Requirements:

  • Experience with PCB assembly and testing
  • Ability to read and follow assembly and test instructions and procedures
  • Ability to perform light and heavy mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Understanding operations and assembly of electrical (AC and DC) systems
  • Knowledge of cables, harnesses' fabrication, and system's wiring
  • Knowledge of electronic, electrical, and mechanical components and functionality
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include shift work, overtime, and possibly weekend work
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Two-year technical degree or 5-6 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong work ethic
  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Hands-on, quality-conscious, and customer-focused
  • Computer literate
  • Soldering certification to IPC standards preferred
  • Experience configuring electromechanical systems, to include loading of software/firmware, preferred
  • Ability to travel occasionally (
