About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Meat Department Associate to join our team at The GIANT Company. As a key member of our meat department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process meat deliveries, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Weigh, price, and label products with precision and accuracy.
  • Stock and rotate meat cases, ensuring a visually appealing display.
  • Prepare valued-added products, such as custom cuts and specialty items.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making product recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management, including processing cuts for the service counter and special orders.
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations.
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment.
Physical Demands
  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs.
