Job Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at JBS USA, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products. This includes monitoring SOP's, SSOP's, and GMP compliance, performing HACCP procedures, and conducting pre-shipment inspections. You will also be responsible for reviewing records, aiding QA supervision, and working closely with shipping and production associates to monitor product specifications and correct deficiencies. This is a challenging role that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

* Monitor SOP's, SSOP's, and GMP compliance of associates
* Perform HACCP procedures to comply with federal regulations
* Conduct pre-shipment inspections, including lifting and opening of boxes, scanning and printing of labels
* Review records to ensure accuracy and be held accountable for their accuracy
* Aid QA supervision and management in gathering data and investigating items outside of regular technician responsibilities
* Work closely with shipping and production associates in monitoring product for specifications and correcting deficiencies

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* Ability to lift and move boxes and equipment as needed
