Key Responsibilities- Preclinical Pharmacology Studies: Perform pharmacology studies in rodents, including drug administration via multiple routes, blood and tissue collection, and tumor volume measurement.
- Study Protocol Development: Communicate and coordinate with other scientists on a project team to draft, finalize, and implement study protocols.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and record data, prepare summaries of experimental procedures and results, and present data in team meetings.
- In Vitro Assays: Develop, perform, interpret, and troubleshoot a broad range of in vitro assays, including immune cell profiling, cytokine profiling, functional assays using primary cells, and cytotoxicity/apoptosis assays using primary and/or cultured cells.
- Assay Portfolio Development: Innovate and expand our assay portfolio by identifying, evaluating, and implementing new assay technologies through literature research, academic collaborations, and adaptation from other groups within the company.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with 1-3 years of academic or industry research experience.
- Demonstrated experience in small animal handling and pharmacology is highly preferred.
- Experience with drug administration and blood and tissue collection is preferred.
- Experience with cell culture and in vitro assays is desirable.
- Demonstrate ability for quality execution, attention to detail, and proficiency in multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, within teams, and with internal and external collaborators.
